Heather Jach: Jeno Czekly
I am looking for information regarding Jeno Czekly. I'm not sure about his date of birth, but he died on December 26, 1936 in Velence. Judging from the picture, I believe he may have been born around 1880.

He is my Great Grandfather. I would appreciate any assistance.

Your welcome.

I see that the sites that I posted while back are no longer there.

Can not seem to locate where the www.bmi.net/jjaso site went but you can find Latin and Hungarian wording in this one: www.genealogy.ro/dictionary

Heather Jach: Re: Jeno Czekly (Update)
I have recently discovered that he went by the name "Franz". He was born in 1877 (I believe it was in Kaposvar) and he died on December 26, 1936 in Velence.

He was married to Anna B.(Carver)Czekly from New York. They had one daughter, Joesphine Lola Czekly who was born in America 1919 before they returned to Budapest in 1920 or 1921.

On the passenger list for their return to America, a sister, Frast Janos is listed.
