Seeking help finding CZWACHO family from Meovia, Kapantis Czechoslavakia. Ludwig Czwacho was born Jan. 15, 1882. Move to U.S. around 1900 and his name was changed to Leo Cvacho when he was naturalized. Would love to know any thing about the family and what dialect did the family speak?
Thank you ,
MDC

In 1993 the former country of Czechoslovakia separated into Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
The Meovia sounds like Myjava, Slovak Republic.
The spelling CVACHO would seem Slovak as this surname does show up in SK's phone book. www.zoznamst.sk

Did you locating his manifest? Does he show up on Ellis Island website?

Take a look at the Ellis Island manifests of 3 CZVACHOs,1 CZVANHO (Anna was going to a son Ludwig) was from Ajszabadi. The most CVACHOs list in town of Varin, SK. Simon was from Varna which is now Varin, SK.
