Looked into Germany's phone site and there are two listings for Debreczy. www.dastelefonbuch.de
Have you exhausted the church records for ancestral information that the LDS-Mormons have filmed?

The church records are indexed by a village. Do you have the name of it? Did you try that way?

the only information i have is budapest, i know that makes it hard, adn that he was calvinist(protestant) he went to the calvinsit horthy grammer school if thats any help

My mother's and my grandfather's name is Debreczy.
The family comes from Transylvania and is related to the Koeroesi and Inczefi families.
