I have found some proof that my grandmother Magdelena Keller, who married John Dekreon, my grandfather, has Jewish background in her family. My mother died when I was 15 months old and now I am 62. My grandparents adopted me when my mother died because my father, Elmer (Al) Tillman was in the Air Force and could not take care of me. When my grandparents died, an aunt and uncle took me. The uncle was a son of my grandmother from a marriage to a brother of John Dekreon, and my grandmother when she was a widow married the living brother named John (Johan) Dekreon. I am trying to get all the info I can so that perhaps if my health improves, I can go to Europe in March, 2010 for about 4-5 weeks and meet family and get more records of the Dekreon family.
