	Mike Demes: Demes family Hello, My name is Mike Demes and I am interested in learning more about my ancestors & relatives in Tiszasalamon. My great-grandfather Demes Ferencz was born there in 1890. His parents names were Demes Ferencz and Berta Rosza (Rosalia). He had one sister Ilon(a). Ferencz came to the U.S. in 1905 but his parents and sister stayed behind. I have no information about what happened to them. I have seen the 1828 census from Tiszasalamon and there was a Demes Andras living there, so I am assuming he was an ancestor of Demes Ferencz. Does anyone know if there are still any Demes family in Tiszasalamon today? It is now Solomonove, in Ukraine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
