ploshad: photographic research

Can anyone give me information concerning Robert Dietrich a violinist born circa 1890's. Although I have a photograph of this gentleman when he must have between 15-20 years of age holding a violin and bow it could just be possible that he was not a professional musician but an amateur. I would be most grateful to learn more of this gentleman. Thank you.
