	Zlatica : Re: Emil Doczy Vicki Looking on the manifest it does say they left an acq. ERDELYI Janos in Debreczen, Hajdu. No family left behind. Most likely Maria age 70 is his mother. Emil and Dezso were naturalized citizen - numbers and date by their name. Sandor Doczy last residence Zsablya hungary wife Maria Doczy last residence Zsablya 5 kids Gizzella Mariska Sandor Janos Joseph Sandor was a musician, played the lute, piccolo, mandolin. made instruments and played in a mistral. 	lori Doczy: Doczy in Zsablya going through old items i found this prayer book. the story i have told about it that Sandor Doczy brought this over with him from hungary.. i translated it using translate.eu.. i'm wondering if it shows the church group that he was part of.. maybe i can find information there.. 	Adoczy: Re: Emil Doczy Hi Victoria, My name is Agnes Dóczy, I was born in 1973. My father and my grand father's name are Emil Dóczy. ( this is a habit, my younger brother is Emil as well). So it can't be a trick, in my family there were 3 Emil.Probably your grandfather was ur relative as well. Unfortunately my grandfather died last week, that is why I have searched a bit his name on web, and found now this site.. so What I can tell you, that as I know our Dóczy family is came from Debrecen, my great-grand father name was Sándor Dóczy. He was born in 1903, near Debrecen, in Balkany - he worked as a mechanist ( I attached a picture). His brother's name was Lajos Dóczy. In 1927-29 -when he was already married - they moved to France, he was worked for Citroen carfactory. My grandfather ( Emil) was born in France! He was the second child in this family. Later on all of them came back to Hungary, before the war. One more thing : My grandfather's family has 4 children first was Jenő ( he died during the war in Budapest), second Emil( my grandfather) , third Veronika, fourth Sándor. Veronika's grandchildren's name is Gedeon... why? It is not common name in these days.. Unfortunately I do not keep the contact with Gedeon. Veronika also had died, Sándor is still alive. Probably I will be able to speak with him soon . Hope you will get my message, and if we are relatives, welcome!
