	Craig: Karoly_Doroszlay Can you tell me if you had a relation by the name of Karoly Doroszlay? Wife's Name, Klara? He was born around 1911 in Hungary, and passed away in Australia on 28 June 1978. He was a gifted musician who taught piano in his later years. We are trying to gain information about this man's life, to remember him at an upcoming Reunion. I was also a member of a choir that took part in a recording that Károly Doroszlay made in the 1960s in Melbourne. My parents probably still have a copy of this recording. My ggg mother was Anna Doroszlai. She was died in 1899 in Rum. Where was born Karoly Doroszlay? Tamas Vas megye területén jó néhány Doroszlai/Doroszlay család élt 100 évvel ezelőtt, például Rumban és Töttösön. A Radix vasútas listáján szereplő Doroszlay Mihály ükanyám testvére volt. A Matáv internetes telefonkönyve szerint napjainkban kb. 40 család él Magyarországon ezzel a névvel. He taught me music and participated as music master of the Hungarian (Hunor es Magyar Cserkeszcsapat)in Melbourne. He became a close family friend particularly with my parents. Doroszlay Karoly was a fine gifted musician whose enormous talent and ability were underutilised in melbourne. I attended his funeral in Melbourne the late 1970's and often think of him when reminiscing.
