My father Geza Dukesz was born on June 2, 1884, and his parents were Jozsef Dukesz and Rozalia Engel. I would like to know more about my grandparents or any relatives of these people. It may be possible that you know of a family connection between my grandparents and your gggmother. Here is a marriage record for your ancestor which I found last year (2005) in the Nitra pri Ivanke archive: Date: August 15, 1882 Groom: Josef DUKES of Hecse, son of Hermann DUKESZ and Hani GOTTLIEB, age 31 Bride: Rosi ENGEL of Nagy Ker, daughter of Gabriel ENGEL and Regina SCHONFELD, age 23 Here is a listings of the children of Herman DUKES (DUX) and Hani GOTTLIEB of Hecse: Kathi August 16, 1852 Mari Jan 8, 1856 Moriz Mar 20, 1857 Eduard Jul 8, 1858 Michael Jul 20 1860 Aron Schugla Aug 15, 1862 Leni (Helen) Apr 28, 1864 As you can see, Josef is not on my list, but he was probably listed in a previous book.
