	jshajo: dzsarik I HAVE A COPY OF WHAT I BELIEVE IS FROM A 1869 CENSUS. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT IN ENGLISH. THE ONLY PARTS I CAN READ ARE THE NAMES AND DATES. AND THOSE ARE WRITTEN IN SCRIPT THAT IS UNFAMILIAR SO I MAY EVEN BE READING THE LETTERS INCORRECTLY. THE COVER PAGE HEADING READS: __________ MAGYAR MEGYE ZEMPLEN KOSZEG SUSHA (VERY UNSURE OF SPELLING) FOLVETELI IV A NEPESSEG ES HAZIALLATOK SZAMLALASARA AZ 1869. 	Zlatica: Re: dzsarik jshajo I recognized: Magyar- Hungarian/Hungary Zemplen megye, Zemplen region Koszeg : few villages in old Hungary with that word. The word koszeg might mean something else like name of a village, which you have Susha (Szucha, maybe). Go to www.bogardi.com into 1882 gazatteer, click on Zemplen see if you can recognize the name of a village. An old 1910 Hungarian megye: http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 click on Zemplen Anna DZSARIK arr. in 1910 from Szuka. In the phone book, area code/UTO 056 in Suche a close spelling DZARA. www.zoznamst.sk Can you attach a scan of the 1869 census?
