Roger: Anna Eberle

I am looking for any Eberle relatives or other people who had German relatives born in Keglevichhaza, Austria-Hungary. In German it was called Keglewitschhausen. In Romanian, it is now called Cheglevici. My grandmother was born in October 1903. Her father Johann (Janos) was born there approximately in 1870. Is there a source for birth record information? does anybody have any present contacts in that town?

The town of Keglevichhaza falls into Torontal megye and is in Romania.

The LDS-Mormons have filmed several European countries church records but nothing comes up for Keglevichhaza. You might need to hire a researcher in Romania to go to the archive.

My cousin Eleanor is researching our family origins in the Banat. She tells me that our grandfather Peter Marx was born in Keglevichhaza on March 8, 1884.
