Az Edelinek a felvidéki Szomolnokhutáról erednek.(Nem Szolnokhuta!)Ott a temetőben rengetegen vannak és sokan élnek is a faluban (leszármazottak). Az ide átjöttek neve az én családomban Edelén-re válzozott. A szepességi németek egy sajátos nyelvjárásához, a mantákhoz tartoznak.
