Az ősők közt van lengyel, szlovák, cseh, sváb, flamand, ...stb származású Most annak az Ehrenreich családnak leszármazottait ill. ősei keresem, akik az 1800-as években a Dunántúlon, Gyömöre, Borszörcsök, Devecser községekben laktak, majd egy részük kivándorolt Amerikába, mások Bp-re költöztek. Házasság révén rokonságba kerültek a Pápa-i Sternfeldekkel, kikről szinte semmit nem tudok. A névváltoztatások (II.Józset, XX.sz.), és a holokauszt szinte lehetetlenné teszi, hogy bárkit megtaláljak. Ha valaki érintett kérem jelentkezzen! A hazai anyakönyveket mind megnéztem, de hihetetlenül hiányosak. Segítséget kérek, hogyan tovább. 	Judit: Ehrenreich Dear Visitors, I am searching that Ehrenreich family's prosterities and ancestors lived in the years of 1800 in the Hungarian Dunántúl region in Gyömöre, Borszörcsök, Devecser villages. They partly moved to the United States and others to Budapest. They became relatives with Sternfeld family from Pápa by marriage of whom we have no information at all. Due to the changes of names at the time of king of Jozsef the 2nd and during the XX th century and also due to the Soah it is seams almost impossible to find any member of the family. All possible documentation have been checked in hungary and in neighbour countries. Do you know where can I look after that 90 ehrenreichs and 234 sternfelds? Who are they and what else is common than their names? How can I find that White Pages? Unfortunately, the Polish phone site has not been on the internet since December and it might not be put back on by the new phone company. Johann Jakob Ehrenreich b. 1735 migrated to Banat abt. 1769, d. 13 May 1789 Groß Jetscha, Banat region, Hungary. He had four children that I have been able to trac: Ulrich, Jon Michael, Elisabeth and Johann. He may have had three wives: Maria Barbara Velisch, Maria Barbara Hoffman and Maria Steigerhantzin. My great grandmother and my great-aunt Hannah Hartman(Hartmann on Ellis Island manifest)came to NY on Sept 1, 1895 on the ship Persia from Hamburg and was traveling with a Mandel Ehrenreich. They said they were from Ungvar, Hungary. Ungvar is in the county Ung, which is the same conty that Nemetvagas is in . Mandel Ehrenreich was 18 when he came over, so he was born about 1878. Today, on Ellis Island I found a Mandar Ehrenreich who came over on Mar 31,1907 and he was born in 1880 and was from Budapest. I also found Mendel Ehrenreich who came over on Nov. 3, 1909 and he was from Nemetvagas ( Ellis island spelt it Neinetvagas) and he was going to his brother Willy Ehrenreich in Mckeesport, Pa. Yes, the Ehrenreich persons you mention from Nemetvagas (today Poruba pod Vihorlátom) is my family and I have been in contact with several others with a connection to that village. It is also not very far from Ungvar (today Uzhhorod), it is my belief that those Ehrenreich families may be related.
