| Zlatica: Re: Eichinger Anna | Connie
EICHINGER: Anna, Mihaly, Jozsef, Maria, Janos, Margit and Karoly coming thru EI in 1906 were from Panyova and EICHINGER: Josef, Miklos and Vilnd (could be Vilma) from Paneyova (Panjava). I would say one and the same village.
Use one step/gray form www.stevemorse.org and you will find people from Panjova/Panjowa/Panyowa/Pauyova/ which is in Romania. www.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/loctown.htm
www.genealogienetz.de/reg/ESE/dsinfo.htm
You will find Panyo(Panyova) on Temes megye map:
http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 in Green North of town of Lugos or North-East of town of Temesvar.
On this map http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910/gonczy (temes)the name of the village is Panyova/Panyowa. One more map site where you will see the village's name more clearly: http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/digkonyv/topo/200e/39-46.jpg On the right side of the map locate 22 degrees, come down 2 lines and you should see Panyova and Uj-Panyova |
