Dear Harry Fabick,

Congratulations on developing the family further back.

I'm JÃ¡nos BogÃ¡rdi, the provider of this message board. My mother-in-law was born as M. Fabik in what is now Zeliezovce in Slovakia. I remember that our family in Zeliezovce mentioned the correspondence with you. One member of the family in Slovakia started to compile the family tree with the facts and papers (not much) at his hands. You can see the results here:

(K. FÃ¡bik is my wife's grandpa.)

The family has a copy of some document that the Fabik family in Zeliezovce (formerly Zseliz or ZselÃz in Hungary) lived there as early as 1848-1849.
