"Let me see if I can jog your memory: I was a 'guest' of yours for a week in the hospital (I was the bloke in the single room who insisted on smoking back in 1987) and we met socially a little after that when you came with your lovely dog to visit us at my mother's cottage in Ewhurst. I live with my wife in Los Angeles. although I have dual nationality, both UK and US. I believe at the time of that visit we had an Irish Setter and we took a walk with them on Pitch Hill. The only other thing I can think of which may help jog your memory is that after I'd been in the Royal Surrey that time I sent a hamper from Harrods or Fortnums at Christmas to the ward, which as I recall turned out to be very disappointing Long time ago for you, I know and a sea of faces since.
