| Count Gudenus: Sopron - Festetics - marriage 1783 | In those days Sopron /Ödenburg was one of the Hungarian capitals of the Hungarian nobility, particularly of those, who could not afford to reside in Vienna; but who had close relations with Vienna.
The following marriage of a Gudenus to a Festetics was promulgated (verkündet) in Vienna (parish of St.Peter, a few meters away of St. Stephan). The marriage may have taken place in Sopron 1783 May 4.

One would like to have an exact copy of the registration of the marriage entry in the /a Sopron parish register; best would be a photocopy (scan) of the entry.
In those days there was certainly an abnormal high amount of nobility residing in Sopron. This for those, who want to publish an article.
