	Zlatica : Re: Family name Chickycat You need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed to locate distant relatives. 2 FOCSKOs and 6 FOCZKOs passed thru Ellis Island. 	gabiS8: Re: Family name My grandfather (either or my dad's father, or my mum's father) came from Zlata Idka (Slovakia). I think he was the father of my mum. He changed his name from Foczko to Füredi. He died november 2005 in the age of 90. 	krf1266: Re: Family name My great-grandfather and his brother and sister came from Zlata Idka, also last name of Foczko. There are Foczko's who settled in Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
