In my search for my family I was finding more this name in town Kiskunmajsa (Jászkunszolnok country,Hungary), from XVIII century.If you want know more you have three choice: first you come in Budapest than you seek in National Archives, second you contact mormons, and you please them for microfilms from Frankfurt.It is free.Third: you charge a firm here.From your first name I think that you are French so I hope in Paris must be mormon-center.From your last name I think you must know hungarian language!

Hello Alain,

my grandfather was Fölföldy, but in 1920 the hungarian regime changed the nama to Felföldy.
If you search under www.google.hu or www.origo.hu you can find more fölföldys. One of them whose grand-grandfather was Fölföldy is Felföldy Philipp.

My German is better than my English.
