| Paul Fon: Re: Fon, Johan from Trnova | My father is an only son, and his parents passed away without telling him the story of our family. All we were left with were bits and pieces of facts. He was always under the impression that we were Slovenes, but only my great grandmothers place of birth matched with Slovenia and all my great grandfathers said was Trnovo.
Now that i know there is a Trnovo in Slovenia as well as Serbia the mystery is more or less solved. I thank you so, so much for this. I had hit a brick wall and could no longer continue, now all I have to do is get in touch with people in this village to see if they have the records.
