Here you have the translations (excuse my bad grammar):

I am looking for one of my great-grandparents, Gero Gabos, who was born in Bokaj-Alfalu (Transylvania). I am glad that I fixed the place, but I am a bit confuse at the name of the county. Is Alba the actual name?
Thanks, Maria Lakatos
On the pic you have two Gabos descendants. Magda Gábos 96 years old, and Maria Lakatos 64 years old. Our Gabos great-grandparents were half-siblings.

Alba (Romanian) = Feher / White.
There are a lot of arms of Gabos families too. In my native village, Szekelymuzsna (from Transylvanian old Udvarhely Seat) and in the neighborhod villages (Matisfalva, Agyagfalva and Decsfalva) this surname is a common one.

Thanks, dear Janos. Yes, I knew in part about this. Also that my great-grandfather was from Bokaj-Alfalu and the Register of Reformed Church was kept in Gyógy, but it was damaged in 1849 (Hungarian Revolution), the priest, the teacher and other hundred people was kiled (by Romanians). My grandfather already came to Pestre, because a missunderstanding with his mother-in-law. As the family remember - his mother, Maria Bethlen died early. My grandpa had jobs at the Nemzeti Theatre, later at the Opera. He had two wives and a lot of children. Many of them had jobs at the Opera too. Kornélia (Nelly) Gabos and Katica were singers, Gyula worked at the Garderobe together with his wife, Maria Hartman. He died very old.
