| plafleur: Gajdos in Illinois and Rakacza Szend | I am researching my wife's side, her maiden name is Fancsalszki. Her paternal grandmother is Katalin Gajdos. We don't know much about this family, but what we do know is this. Katalin was born in in Rakacza Szend in 1916 and married John (Janos) Fancsalszki then moved to the US (Chicago, Illinois) with him. In Chicago, she had 1 girl and 2 boys, Ethel, Larry, and Thomas.
