177 GILLERs passed thru Ellis Island and 7 of them listed themselves as Magyar.
Four of them have that they were from Arad.

A Giller név szerepel az 1720-as Vas megyei összeírásban
/ma burgenlandi terület/mint Georgius Giller.Majd 1750 környékén egy Giller család Nagymarosra települ.Ma ezt a nevet"Ghiller"formában írják itt.Burgerland területén ma is van egy helyiség aminek a neve Gillersdorf.
Feltételezhetõ,hogy innen ered a Giller név.

Nevem Csilléry Beatrix Magyarországon Sárbogárdon lakom.
Nagyanyám Szenthe Gitta aki Giller Ilma és Sárói Szentei Szenthe Kálmán lánya volt.
Ilma testvére Giller János(Hanzi bácsi).
Dédapám Giller János (Losonc).
A családfa kutatással fõként a férjem foglalkozik.:)
