| Damir: Re: Search of Relatives | Dear Edgar, thank you for your interest and sorry for not writing back sooner.
Unfortunately, I do not know all that much about the Gojtan side of my family. I know of LEonard Gojtan (b. NOv. 6 1862 in D. Prilisce, d. April 4, 1939) HE married Dora Boljkovac on Nov 24, 1885 and they had 4 sons (Niko, Janko, Josip and Franjo) and 3 daughters (MAgda, Kata and Ana). I could give you partial dates for some of them.
My maternal grandfather was their youngest son, Franjo (b. April 4 1906, d. 1977). HE married Amalija (LJubica) Staresinic) on Feb 2, 1930, and they had 2 sons (Nikola and Vilko) and 7 daughters (Anka, Franciska, MArica, Ljubica, Vilma /my mother/, VEronika and BArka). NIkola spent most of his life in St. Ste. MArie, CAnada, and died there in 1995. Anka is alive and well in Prilisce, Francisca died in 1966 in KArlovac, Croatia. MArica lived in Canada and died there, Ljubica, VIlko and BArka still live in Toronto with their families, while VEronika lives in MAribor, Slovenia, and my mother in Duga Resa, Croatia.
I have more info on their families, dates etc., but maybe I could send you more details via e-mail. My address: damir.bilicic -a-t- ka.htnet.hr -d-o-t-
I would certainly be interested to learn more about your, Zora's and KArolina's families.
All the best,
Damir |
