A year later he sent for his wife and children- Johanna Gold. She was born 6-1-1856 in Kamond, Veszprem, Hungary. Jewish family. Do not know if he was Russian, German, or Hungarian. Does this sound like your Samuel? Do not know Johanna's maiden name.
