Pali_G: Other Gulyassys in the world

I am aware of others with the surname of "GULYASSY" after searching with Google. Most references are to Mike Gulyassy of billiards fame. I am trying to find what connection there is to my family of other Gulyassys. I was born in Bridgeport, CT in 1928, son of Rev. Emil D. and Helen L. Gulyassy. I was aware of some Gulyassys in the Chicago area when I was growing up but never met any of them. I currently live in the Davis, CA area.
I would enjoy hearing from anyone else with my surname. I have two living brothers but they both changed to a simpler last name! One niece changed her surname back to GULYASSY, preferring it to the new name her dad chose - "GAY". I speak some basic Hungarian but writing is difficult, so I write in English.

Not researching and not connected to your surname but while you are waiting for distant relatives to reply, why not look over some sites and search engines.
You will need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research.
There were 2 GULYASSYs,1 GULIASI, 1 GULYASZY and 2 GULYASI that passed thru Ellis Island. Most of them were from Jakabfalu which was in Lipto megye and now called Jakubovany (Liptov region), Slovak Republic.
