Kim: Sajo Vamos

I am trying to locate information on John Michal Havas, born 3 Jun 1902 in Sajo Vamos Hungary, son of Andras Havas of Minholtz, Hungary & Magdolna Drotos Havas of Sajo Vamos. If anyone can help with any information, I would be very appreciative. I've just begun looking & am not sure even where Sajo Vamos is/was located! Thank you.

Ki tud nekem információt adni Havas József (Cegléd, 1882 - ) főreál-iskolai tanár, műfordítóról? Magyar-francia szakos tanárként 1907-1923 között a sümegi, kecskeméti és a szombathelyi állami főreál-iskolában tanított. A létszámcsökkentés folytán 1923 október 1-én elhagyta a tanári pályát. Katolikus vallású. Számos mű fordítását végezte.

I'm tracing back my Havas ancestors. I looks like they came from around the Iglo and Lőcse area. In particular, I am trying to locate a village that the church records from Iglo have lead me to. I have several spellings ... Iximisan, Iximizan, Izmizan, Jxmixsan. In particular I am looking for a birth record of Jozef Havas by Jozef Havas and Julianna Traxator (Braxator?)

I've been awaiting and going through some microfilm from the FHC of the LDS. It's taken a while, but Smizany was the correct location. Thank you. I was able to find the Marrige record for Joseph and Julianna. He was from Leutoschovia (Levoca; she was from Szmisan. Now I'm working on the birth record for their son, Joseph. I have not found it in Iglo, Smizany or Levoca. Still working!
