| captain: Kapitány Herpay Mihaly | I presume, that I am a descendant of Kapitány Mihaly Herpay, living in Kiskunhalas between 1750 and 1783. He had 3 daugthers and four sons, but there are no Church Registrations, although he was a great sponsor of the Catholic Church.
My Family line goes to Szabadszállás down to 1787, but I didn´t find a connection to Kiskunhalas. On the Marriage of Gergely Herpay and Szuszanna Varga, the last found Ancestor of my family-line in 1787, the bestman was Joszeph Herpay. He could have been one of the sons of Mihaly Herpay (mentioned in the Collatio Nobilitatis 1754)and the father of Gergely.
Szuszanna Varga could have been the grant-nice of Helena Varga, mentioned as Wife of Mihaly Herpay in the ColNob.
