Ray: Hucek surname

I am looking for information on Hucek's that immigrated to the US and settled in Texas and Oklahoma.

There was a Jacob, John, Theresa, Lukas and Mathias Hucek that immigrated to the US around 1891 into New York, then went on to settle in Shiner, TX.

I am very interested in finding their village of origin. Any help would be very appreciated.

7 HUCEKs passed thru Ellis Island to America. You might want to check those manifests. In any case, you need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research.

The name HUCEK exists in city of Praha's phone book.
In small numbers the name HUC'EK also in Slovak Republic's phone book.
