Huszár Amália /üknagyanyám/ született Rohoncon 1833.12.14.-én. Szülei Huszár Sámuel és Benedek Anna. Keresem az 1930-1940.-es években Kőszegen élt Huszár Frigyes leszármazottait, mert Ludig Gusztáv (Stoob- evangélikus lelkész)levelében mely az 1940.-es években iródott azt olvastam, hogy nála vannak a leszármazási papirok.
Ha a dokumentumok megvannak, egyben megtaláltam távoli rokonaimat is.

Dianne: Huszar Family

I am researching my Great-grandmother, Edelka Huszar. She was born March 9, 1871 in Faherzeglak, Budapest, Hungary. She arrived in the United States in 1889. Edelka was a concert pianist. She studied at the Budapest Conservatory of Music. Her sister, Katalin Huszar, born October 11, 1857 arrived in the United States in 1882. Birthplace unknown. Katalin was a doctor. I am trying to locate church records to research the family. We know nothing about siblings of Edelka and Katalin's or their parents. I would also like to find some records from the Conservatory of Music and from the Medical School Katalin attended.

Katalin married Anton Kovascevitch and had a son Anton Jr. Father and son returned to Hungary without Katalin and nothing was ever heard from them again.

I would like to find the records of their family to add to our family history.

A good locator of a town that the name might be misspelled or from old regime is locating a Faherzeglak as being Foherczeglak and at present Knezevo, Croatia.

The LDS-Mormons website is not listing any church records by the name Faherzeglak / Foherczeglak or Knezevo.
Knezevo seems to be very close to Hungary's border and it looks like it might be in the old Baranya megye.

Etelka was born 09 MAR 1871 and her sister Katalin was born 11 OCT 1857 and evidence leads to them being born in Főherceglak, District of Baranyavári,
County of Baranya Hungary. Now Knezeve, Croatia.

I was able to locate Katalin will dated 1918 where she mentions family names!
"to her niece Marie KREUTZER, and Kotleri IRMA both of Baranyavári, Vörösmart, Austria-Hungary. And, Anna WATZEK wife of Paul WATZEK of Neu Kettenhof, No. 42, Schwechat near Wien Austria.

Anyone having information on the above names in family, please contact us. Dblume and I are working on family.

Thank you so much for finding Etelke Huszar's birthdate. She was my grandfather's older sister, so the date appears highly probable.

I have no knowledge of an older sister named Katalin.

However, the name Anna Watzek makes me wonder if she is the niece, daughter of Aladar, who emigrated to Canada after WWII. (Her name was not Agnes, but Anna. My mistake.)

We have no information about Etelka or her family. All we know is her sister's name, Katalin, and that they were from Hungary. Etelka immigrated to the United States in 1890. Her sister landed in the US in 1883 with her husband Anton Kovacevic. Etelka and Katalin came to Texas and lived here the rest of their lives. Any information that you can provide will be appreciated. Let me know if you want any family history from us.

Thanks for your response. I'm afraid there must be at least two Etelke Huszars because the one I'm looking for died in the Holocaust. I don't know where she was born, but she was older than my grandfather who was born in Munkacs in 1876 and died in Budapest in 1931. The family was very poor. My father's grandmother came from Szatmar and Aladar became a bookseller there, I believe.
I believe Aladar Huszar and his son, also Aladar Huszar were in the Hungarian resistance, but I'm not sure. That's one of things I want to find out.

A Huszar Jenő volt a kulcsszó, ami arra késztetett, hogy feliratkozzam. Nagyapámat hívták így.1898-ban született Németprónán. Hét éves volt, mikor egy szekéren megérkezett Budapestre. Apja H.Antal kőműves, anyja Palesch Paula, nagypja H. Antal posztókészítő, nagyanyja Bauer Janka. Mindenki Németprónai. A család valamikor állítólag nemességet kapott (én láttam egy pecsétnyomót gyerekként, de ilyet bárki csináltathat nem?). Az ismert Huszár családokba nem illeszkedik. A családi legendárium szerint flamand volt az anyanyelvük. A Nyitra-megyei lévéltárba még nem jutottam el. Tud valaki segíteni Judit

paul huszar: in surch of family

hello I'm looking for my family in Hongarie
I live in belgium and my father Istvan Huszar came as a child with his brother Jani Huszar to belgium in 1924
They where orphelins .He had two other brothers Michi Huszar and Laslzo Huszar who lived in Varpolota I think
I have two cosins in Hungarie 1. Huszar Laszlo who must be an architect and Zoltan Huszar who is a doctor
Can anyone help me in surch of them?

There is a book by Csabo Teglas called Exit Budapest or Budapest Exit. In the book he mentions a Dr. Huszar. At first I thought he was related to my family, but it turns out he is not. It's a great book to read, in any case. The book has a picture of Dr. Huszar. Check it out.

Eva: Kisvarda, name Droczar

Hi,
my gfather Béla Droczar was born 4.12. 1909 in Kisvarda. He married with Anna Gerberyova from Beregovo. It is said that he died in 1938 in Mukacevo. There was born my father. I have only his grecekatholic " kivonat". Iam planning on going to Kisvarda and Beregovo with my father, but I donť know where some registry are.

You do know that Beregovo and Mukacevo is in Ukraine. (just making sure)
The OVA on the end of Anna's surname just means it is a female in a GERBERY family.
The town of Kisvarda is in Szabolcs megye, Hungary.

Nógrád megyében van egy kis falu, úgy hívják ,hogy Tereske, ebben a kis faluban vagy egy úgynevezett Huszár kúria. Ezen a környéken Tereske, Szátok, Szécsény, Rimóc,Jobbágyi élt egy Huszár család. A család nagybirtokos volt. A környék összes kis települése hozzájuk tartozott. A másik méltóságos úri család a Szmecsányi volt. Ezek is szintén a környéken éltek.

A Huszár név kapcsán írok, mert anyai ágon én is kapcsolódom Huszár nevű ősökhöz.
Nagyanyám Huszár Erzsébet ( szül. Losonc), Dédapám Huszár Kálmán volt. Laktak Sárbogárdon, Bonyhádon is.
Édesanyám ( sajnos már nem él) még a dercsikai Huszár nevet is említette. Valamint egy Kastner Emma nevű nagymamát is említett már. Édesanyám leánykori neve Moldován Emma. Várom azok jelentkezését, akinek ismerősek az említett nevek, illetve tud valami fontosabb információt.

Üknagyszüleim Locsmándról származnak. Üknagyanyám Huszár Amália (született:1833.12.14.) Szülei Huszár Sámuel, és Benedek Anna Rohonczi születésüek.
A Huszár családból költöztek Locsmándra Rohonczról fiú
gyerekek is. A Huszár villa még ma is áll Locsmándon.
A család evangélikus vallású volt, és nagyon sokan bábosok (mézeskalácsosok) voltak.
Több adatom van a Huszár családról ha érdekel magánban megírom. Cimem: molnar.agnes -a-t- kurtfalvi -d-o-t- com

Családfánk egyik ágának megrjzolásához kérünk segítséget. Adatink sajnos még igen hiányosak, családfáinkat eltűntek, elpusztultak az idők során.

Nagyapánk, Huszár István, felesége szül Kiss Terézia.
Nagyanyánk előneve, Hatházy (Hadházy?) Kiss Terézia (ez talán segít a Kiss ágról esetlegesen íróknak).

Nagyapánk testvérei közül ma már sajnos csak egy él, Huszár József (Canada).

Testvéreik voltak többek között: Huszár Erzsébet, Huszár Rozália, Huszár Benedek, Huszár Zsigmond, Huszár Lajos,

Dédszülein voltak Huszár András és Gáspár Erzsébet.
Gyermekeik: Huszár Erzsébet, Huszár Mária, Huszár Róza, Huszár Borbála, Huszár András, Huszár Lajos, Huszár István, Huszár József, Huszár Imre, Huszár Benedek, Huszár Zsigmond.

Huszár András (Szül.: kb. 1835., Kopócsapáti; Szülei: Huszár János és Gonda Borbála, róm. kat.)
Testvérei is mind Kopócsapátiban születtek, azaz
Huszár Antal, 1816. szeptember 22.
Huszár Sándor, 1820. április 23.
Huszár Lajos, 1823. március 27.

Huszár András apja, Huszár János az 1820-as években a r. kat. Egyház kurátora is volt.

Van itt egy, a fentinek ellent mondó adat:
Huszár András (gör. kat.), felesége Kaczur Borbála (gör. kat.) Házasságot kötöttek: 1863. febr. 10.
Talán egy másik Huszár Andrásról, egy rokonról szól? Vagy valaki elírta a nevet, Gondát írt Kaczúr helyett? Ezekre a kérdésekre egyenlőre nem tudjuk a választ.

Nekem ismerős a Dercsikai Huszár familia.:o) Én is a leszármazottak közé tartozom. Dédnagyanyám Huszár Julianna volt, Sárbogárdon lakott. A nemesi kutyabőrt, ha jók az információim unokatesóm őrzi.A Dercsikai Huszár családfát állítólag 1569-re tudják írásos források alapján visszavezetni. Huszár Mátyás volt, aki I Miksa uralkodótól nyert címeres nemeslevelet. Megvan a képem a címerről is ha érdekel, hogy nézett ki.
