kaz7853: Kalmusz family inquiry

I am searching for any information regarding the Kalmusz family. I have very limited information:

Father - Nicholas Kalmusz (from Hungary?)
Mother - Margret Kalmusz (from Hungary?)
Son - John (born 11/11/1888 - Hungary?, died Long Island, NY - 1960's)

Emigrated from this region to 436 E. 81 Street, NYC, NY, and then College Point, NY.

I would appreciate any information about this family.

you need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research.

7 KALMUSZs and 85 KALMUSs passed thru Ellis Island. You might want to take a look at those manifests if you have not. There could be a clue to your ancestor.

If John/ Janos that was born in Hungary had social security numbers or was naturalized citizen, than those papers will provide the information you need.
