Seeking any information on the Family of Peter Kaszas born 8/13/1899 in Bokony. He is the son of Janos Kaszas and Anna Racz. I am his grandson. I would like to establish contact with Kaszas decendants. Peter emigrated to USA in 1913.

KASZAS Peter from Bokony came thru Ellis Island in 1913 and was going to Bridgeport, Connecticut.
www.infospace.com is listing 5 KASZASs in state of Connecticut and a Peter among them. Why not send a letter with family information and a photo of your ancestor and see what develops.

I am trying to locate my cousin Ildiko Kaszas last known to live in Budapest (husband is Jozsef) as of 1991. Maiden name is Tanka, mother is Teri. Other associated family names are Kiss and Borodics. Last known address Loportar u. 10. with a zip code of Budapest, Hungary 1134.

Thank you for your information. I did find an Ildiko Kaszas in the phone listings in Budapest, and I was so happy. But it was the wrong person, after I called the number listed. I didn't realize that it was such a common last name, and I guess the first name too. I'm going to keep trying.

Yes, I tried sending a letter to the old address and no response. I don't know if she moved or what. I've tried all family names, her sons, and husband's, no luck. When I called I thought what luck, only to find out it was the wrong person. I don't know how much it will cost me to make a mistake!

I know that you have posted on Ancestry and I was hoping that Lajos would come and post a suggestion but so far nothing from him. Try and e-mail him and inquire if there is such a street in Budapest that you have.

En is kaszas vagyok es Debrecenben születtem!
Az En nagypapamat is Kaszas Janosnak hivtak es van egy testvere akit pedig Annanak! Mi mindig csak Annuskaneninek szolitottuk! Egy apolt nö az Anna es regen meg hiusagbol parokat is hordot!

Nem todok sokat Magyorol beszelni. En keresek az Ildiko Kaszas. A ferje Peter es van neki egy fiu Adam. O Budapestbe szulettet. Az o mamaja Teri. Nagymama szulettet Farmosba.

Nem todom hugh el tudod olvasni esztet.

Marie Kaszas: Gyula & Julia Kaszas
Hi My husband's grandfather immigrated to Canada in 1924 from Hungary. He was born in Herczag,Falva Hungary April 9 1883.He came to St.Brieux Saskathewan Canada.His wife Julia born December 23 1888 Sarosi Hungary, immigrated in 1925 to St.Brieux with her children ,Janos age 17, Mary age 8, Istvan age 8 months old.The children were all born in Hercegfalva Hungary. Does anyone know how I can get any information on the family from Hungary? Gyula was in the war there.Any help would be appreciated. I do not speak Hungarian.Thankyou Marie Kaszas

Kaszás János leszármazottait illetve felmenőit keresem. 1809 körül született Kisvenyimen, és itt is halt meg 1887-ben.Felesége Vaskó Terézia. 10 gyermekük volt.

Marie Kaszas: Kaszas Family

Janos Kaszas married to Terezia Vasko is my fatherinlaws family.Their son Pal Kaszas(born 1846 in Hercegfalva-Kisvenyim)married Terezia Kurja and they had 3 children.Then he married Katalin Pamer and they had 7 children.Gyula Kaszas was born to Pal and Katlin.Gyula was my fatherinlaws father.Gyula was also born in Hercegfalva in 1883.Gyula married Julia Horvath from Baracs Hungary.They had 3 children in Hungary. He immigrated to Canada in 1924 and his wife and children came in 1925.They had 4 more children in Canada.
This appears to be a very large family.How does your family fit into this family?I am very interested in hearing from you. Thank you Marie Kaszas
