joan skudera: rudabanyaska
Hello Atilla Csiki:

My grandmother and her two sisters came from Rudabanyaska
in the early 1900s. Their names were: Anna Klitus, Elena (Helen) Klitus and Julie Klitus. They all came to American via Ellis Island.
My grandmother had relatives living in Rudabanyaska in the 1950s. Whether they are still alive, I do not know.
Please reply and let me know the names of your relatives who still live there.

robrecht1: Are you that lost friend?
Just on the off chance Attilla, but are you by any chance the Attila Csiki I used to know from Budapest when I visited there on a few occasions in the 70's and you came to visit me in Paris as well? I know you moved to America, and I think I had one phonecall from you and then all was silent, so if you recognize yourself in the above, send me an e-mail and we'll be able to renew our friendship from years ago!
Here's to hoping you're that lost friend!

1234: Re: rudabanyaska
Dear Joan:

Who is your Grandmother? My Grandmother is Julie. She then married John Chorba. So my Father, Joe Chorba had one sister, Julie (who is now deceased and John (also deceased). Julie Klitus with Helen and Anna (sisters)came to Ellis Island in 1905. Julie Klitus was born in 1886. She's now deceased. She was born in Rudabanyaska Austria Hungary then. Are we distant cousins?

My name is Cynthia Chorba Khalifa. I am 48 years old and live in Foxboro Massachusetts. Please contact me thru email at CKhalifa -a-t- comcast.net -d-o-t-

Cindy Khalifa
Thanks in advance

Julia KLITUS thru EI in 1904 from Budabanyacska / Rudabanyacska which is in Zemplen megye, Hungary.

I think your Zemblain Medga is misspelled Zemplen megye.
