| Aranka: Re: Komaromi | Hi Marcia:-)
Yes, I think bouth families can has some connection with us :-)))but not from the side of my great grandpa´s (Komáromi János).
Abara is a little village with cca 500 inhabitants. There was 4 Komaromi familys and 4 Szarvas familys in Abara.
At the past this familys was mixed multiple. But it is a many age-long interlock. The Komaromi line live in Abara cca 300-500 years. The Szarvas line maybe 200-300 years. In Abara is nearly everybody relative with everybody:-)))Sometimes the cousinhood between the people is inextricable.
But, this familys are relatives, and we are a distant relatives too.:-)))
Oh...I am realy happy:-)))
My grand-grand-grandmother and Szarvas Erzsébet´s mother or grandmother were sisters, they were Serfozo girls. And Szarvas Erzsébet´s father was Szarvas András, who was my grandfather´s brother-in-law. This is duplex cousinhood:
1 - Serfozo
2 - Szarvas
But this Szarvas Erzsébet was married with Hornyák Andor and they lived in Abara. So... This Szarvas Erzsébet is not your grandmother´s sister, she was your´s grandmother´s and her sister´s aunt - I think, but I am not sure at this moment. I need to ask it.
But i know, my mother and Szarvas Anrdás know their near relatives.
Komaromi Janos was a tradicional name in my family, and of course in all Komaromi family in Abara. This cousinhood is more complicated, and I don´t know to disentangle at this moment. But I think, this cousinhood is more distant than the Szarvas cousinhood.
Maybe there is some families, who´s have more nearly related with you: Szarvas Bálint and his family or Komaromi Bálint...
