	rbobor: re: korcsok genealogy My grandmother was born in what was then called Palast, Hungary, on July 24, 1904. Her name was Elizabeth (Erzsebet) Korcsok. She had two sisters that died in childhood, and (I believe) two brothers. Her parents names were Mari (Juhasz) and (I believe) Istvan. I do not know their dates of birth. Palast is now called Plastovce (Slovakia). She and her two oldest children (Elizabeth and Laszlo) left Plastovce in 1938. 	daniel: Re: re: korcsok genealogy my grandfathers name was daniel korcsok who was also born im palast im not sure about how you would find out about therest of the family but i do know on recently visiting palast that he had a brother that was disabled that still lives in that area palast and they are been taken care of byt friend of the family. you should return to palast and ask for the korcsok nam and you will get results. these ppl living in that area were palocok one of the hungarian tribes that entered the carpathian basin at a disputed date. good luck		05/10/2007, 18:22:09 #: 200710308 post replyedit abuse? profile
