Zlatica : Re: Kosztyuch
Ladzun

Bacsi, Hunyad megye, Hungary now Bacia, Romania
http://lazarurs.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910
Most of SPONTAKs that arrived thru Ellis Island were from Ungtolgyes with few from Dubrovka/Dobroka/Dubroka.
Untolgyes, Ung megye, Hungary is Dibrivka, Ukraine. Common language and tradition was (sort of) a must for our first ancestors. If they married in old country, the villages would be within 10 miles radius.

Looking at Ung megye map I would say that your Bacsi is Bacso which is just a stone throw East from Ungtolgyes.
Janos KOSZTYUK from Bacsova arr. in 1905
Bacso, Ung megye, Hungary now Irliava (Chabanivka) Ukraine.
http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/digkonyv/topo/200e/40-48.jpg top of the map by 10 is Dubroka, stone throw is Bacsava

Ladzun: Kosztyuch
Zlatica:
Thank you for the response. One of your recommendations (Maria Ladzsum 1913 thru Ellis Island) showed an Anna Tretinik (spelled as Fretmik on the text) also going to Ernest PA. Maria was my grandfather(Mihaly Ladzun) sister. Anna was a step sister. Great grandfather Georgy Ladzun married Elizabeth Tretinik in Dubroka around 1894.

Zlatica : Re: Kosztyuch
Your welcome Ladzun.

Hopefully all of my posts and websites for research will get you closer to connecting all the dots.
Anna was going to brother Georg TRETUUIK/TRETINIK. You noticed that SPONTAKs,LADZSUM (Maria was naturalized citizen)and TRETMIK were traveling together. Pretty sure you know that Laszlane (Laszlone "ne" means Mrs. Laszlo).
TRETINIK Mihaly from Zubroka (Dubroka) Unytolzges
