bambigirl: Looking for family members of Stephen Krecsmar
I am trying to complete my family tree. My grandfather Stephen Krecsmar came from Csonoplya. The only thing that I know about him was that his father's name was Antal or Anton Krecsmar and his mother's was Rose Koprich. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any and all help. Have a great day.

The LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) website is listing a Roman Catholic church records of Conoplja, Yugoslavia.
I would suggest that if this is the religion of your ancestor that you order the films from which you can gather ancestral information.
www.bmi.net/jjaso to familiarize yourself with church wording.

A first name translation website :
www.fam.aust.com/topolcsany/names

Using www.stevemorse.org One Step there were 250 people from Csonoplya, 7 from Conoplja, 2 from Conoplya, and 40 from Csonoplja. There were 5 KOPRICs that passed thru EI.

Antal would be Magyar / Hungarian for Anton.
Your surnames in a Slavic language would be KREC'MAR and KOPRIC'.

Yugoslavia's phone site is at :
www.telekom.yu/SiteTelekom/Default.htm
A good locator of a town is :
www.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/loctown.htm
