I am trying to find imformation about my grandmothers family, L.Nagy Ilona, born 1912 in Kerekegyhaza, she died 1957 in Budapest. her father was L.Nagy Lajos, born 1875, was a bricklayer in Kerekegyhaza, L.Nagy Lajos committed suicide, hanging himself, 4 April 1928 in Kerekegyhaza after a bad investment. her mother was Zsiros Verona born 1879 in Kerekegyhaza she died 1941. My grandmother had two sisters, Erzsika and Julianna who accompanied her to budapest when her father died. If i am not mistaken she had a brother or half brother L.Nagy Lajos, who stayed in Kerekegyhaza, If anyone knows any imformation about this side of my family, please drop anote.

In my father name the L= Lúczy. From Tiszalúc. I think so, that my family isn't same than yours, because my father's father is L. Nagy László (his wife is Perge Zsuzsanna), and his mother is Nagy Sára, his father is Nagy János. And he has (so I know) a brother, L. Nagy Lőrinc, who lived in Karcag.

My greatgrandfathers first name was Lajos, L Nagy, can you give me any information on what the L before the Nagy is. I do not recognize any of the names you have mentioned, or the places. But then my knowledge of my family in Hungary is Limited.

Did you go thru the Kerekegyhaza's church records that the LDS-Mormons filmed?
Surname NAGY list in Kerekegyhaza's phone book.

Seems there are some phone listings for L.NAGY in the phone book.

Hi, thanks for answering, and the advise. no I have not looked at the church documents filmed by LDS Mormons. Would not know how. I have also tried to look at the phone book. with no success. Will try again....
