Ridge: Lagler
I am looking for information about Stephen Lagler Sr 1890 or Johann Lagler. Both Hungarian born. (I do have a picture of Johann)

Stephen Lagler Sr. moved to Houston Texas, USA. he arrived through the port of Gaveston.

I am directly related to Stephen Lagler Snr who married Kathrine Karlovitz as his second wife. Stephen Lagler Sr. had two girls and a son from his first marriage. Stephen and Katherine only had one son - Stephen Lagler Jr in 1919. This is my grandfather.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Location, location, location ! Do you know a town he was born in? You need to know that in order to proceed with the research.
About 70 LAGLERs came thru Ellis Island to America.

Since you have been told Budapest, please verify before you start the (re)search. The city of Budapest is large and a lot of churches. Check LDS-Mormons website as what sort of church films they have of Budapest in their Family History Center Library.
