clakatos: LAKATOS/BAGAMER
Looking for ancestors of Sandor Lakatos who was born in Bagamer, Hungary on July 28, 1885 and emigrated to Dayton, Ohio USA from Hamburg in 1911. His brothers Janos and Josef also came to USA. His wife Esther Krasznay was also born in Bagamer in 1894. Esther was the daughter of Alex Krasnai and Julia Takacs Thank you for any information.

I have Maria LAKATOS born 1876 in Udvari, Szatmar married to Ferenc GASPAR.

Also have a Maria LAKATOS married to Pal MEZEI with their first child born in Meggyes, Szatmar in 1900.

Another connection is Julianna LAKATOS married to Gyorgy HORVATH in Batiz, Szatmar about 1880.

All these locations are now in Satu Mare, Romania.

Can anyone identify to any of these LAKATOS families?

Én Lakatos Krisztina vagyok Tatabányán lakom.
Apukám Lakatos János szül 1956.06.12.- de nem tudom hol született.
Igaz ha jól tudom akkor Lakatos András volt az apukája neve.

Az ő apukáját nem tudom mikor született (1932-36 körül) Lakatos András volt a neve.
Többet információm nincs, de ha valaki tud kérem irjon.

Lakatos: Looking for family in Hungary
Looking for missing family in Hungary,My fathers name who came here is Sandor Bela Lakatos, born in 1915, ,family members in I think is Debrecen, my fathers brother Zoltan, with children Chilla, Zita, Adneuu,Tamas. My father came here with my mother Maria Ferge` if anyone knows that family, I beleive they came to the U.S. in 1956

There are a lot of LAKATOS families all over Hungary and Transylvania (Romania). For sure connections no other way, somebody must trace all the family arms, with wives maiden names, places, vital data. Step by step...
Even without Parish Registers you have a lot of data on obituaries of Szechenyi National Library - available online at http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html
Attached you have (as sample) a short Lakatos arm from Kisbacon (Batanii Mici), Transylvania.
