I am happy that somebody answer my question especially If it is somebody who
live close to Poland
Thank You for Your information. They are very helpfull for me and explains
that my Family (our) lived and live now not only in Poland.
As you said Your father's and brother's name is Józef. It is great because
it shows that our ascentors were used to use this same names. My
grandfather's name was Józef - he died in 2003. The oldest ancestor whom I
found in Church's archives, was Józef too. He was born about 1800 and lived
in the south of Wielkoplska district (You can check village of Raczyce ) Ha
had a son (and few more) - Antoni Leja who was born in 1839 and died on
14.01.1929. Antoni Leja had a son who had this same name - Antoni The last
one was born in 1889 and died in 1956. They were farmers and had Mill.
What I can tell you more is that my family lived in XVII century (1600) in
Galicja - Nowodays it is District of Opole ( Gorzów Sl¹ski, Skorogoszcz,
Brynica, Krasiejów)
My family is very big. I have 20 cousins - especially girls but 4 of them
are boys in the line of Leja family. I have younger brother.
