| jenn: lichtscheindl | Hi, are there any Lichtscheindl's out there? We are looking for members of the Lichtscheindl family to contact. Our ancester was Jacob Lichtscheindl, he came from Timisoara, then in Hungary; and was German spoken. He was a Licensed Victualler. We really don't have many dates for him. We know he married an Irish lady called Agnes McGahey. He had two daughters and a son. One child was born in Chicago, USA in 1871 and baptised in London, England in 1873. They moved to New Zealand in 1875, and then onto Sydney, Australia where they stayed. The spelling of the surname Lichtscheindl is a little different.
