There are about 12 spelling variants for the surname that I've found so far, including Linzender, Linseder, and Lintzeder.
The first Linczinder to settle Bellye (Bilje) around 1824 was Elias, with his wife Anna Weisz. Their wedding took place in Battaszek, where the bride's family lived. The Linczinders were weavers by occupation.
Elias and Anna had 6 children between 1825 and 1846 (by order of birth): Franz, Elias, Anna, Lorintz, Andreas and Paul. The first three children raised their families in Bellye, and Paulus also spent some time in Bellye as an adult, where two of his children died. Andreas served in the military, but seems to have lived and died elsewhere. I know nothing about Lorintz.
Does someone know about the origins of the Linczinders? The earliest record I've found so far is that of Elias's birth in 1800 in Buda, to parents Elias Linseder and Anna Maria Linsbajer.
I am also interested in the descendants, especially those of Andreas, Lorintz and Paul. Where did they live after Bellye?
