You need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research. Take a look in Ellis Island website. You need to register but no money. www.ellisislandrecords.org
After you register, search for manifest in One Step www.jewishgen.org/databases/EIDB/ellis.html
In 1990 census of names there were LISZAKs and LISAKs in Poland. The Slovak Republic's phone book is listing LIS'AK and LISAK. |
