sue lorenz: Anton and Juila Lorant or Lorenz

tracing Anton and Juila Lorant both born 1824--1839 in hungari. Came to USA some time between marraige and 1865. IN 1880 USA census the have 11 kids all born in Texas.Kida all went by name Lorenz but on Anton and Juila death went by name LORANT. CAN any one help.This is all I know

You need a precise place of birth? Any paperwork in the family files? Take a look in Ellis Island website. www.ellisislandrecords.org I know that your ancestors would not show up but still a good idea to check them out.

A Vas megyei Nárai településen 17. század végi összeírásokban jelenik meg először a családnév. 1746-ban a(z amúgy kuriális) faluban 18 család kap nemesség és birtokmegerősítő oklevelet, közte a Lóránth család is.
