Anne Majlinger: Majlinger
My name is Anne Majlinger. I live in Michigan, USA. I am the daughter of Joseph Majlinger who married Mary Beetschen. I know his father was Joseph and mother Wilma. He has 1 brother Ivan and 1 sister Ilona. As far as I know, Ivan is still in Hungary. And Ilona in Germany. My family is in the USA. Woodhaven, Michigan. I have 4 bothers and sisters: Katherine, Christine, Joseph and Stephen. I know this is a long shot, but any info known would be very cool.

The Hungarian phone site is listing the surname MAJLINGER.
There is a listing for Ivan Majlinger in Janossomorja.

5 Majlingers passed thru Ellis Island.
The LDS-Mormons (Family history Center)have filmed the church records so if you know the name of a town you can order the films and gather ancestral information.

Yes I do remember you.Things are going well. I have an 19 yr old son who is a very talented baseball pitcher at a college in Phoenix Az. where I have been living since 1984. I also have a 15 yr.old daughter who lives with her mom in CO. Springs CO.They both are wonderful kids. Stan is still married to Kathy an old friend of yours. He has a 21 yr. old son and a 16 yr. old daughter. He lives in Colorado and is doing well. How have you been. What's new in your life. My name is Rafael Majlinger.My great-great grandfather Thomas Majlinger was born in Austria (Linz).However he moved to Cracow region and settled down in Przykop near Baranow\Sandomierski.He had 3 children.One of his sons , most likely Antoni Majlinger emigrated to USA - probably beggining of the 20th century.His second son Jan Majlinger was my great-grandpa had 10 children.One of them was Walenty Majlinger my grandfather had 3 children , 2 sons Jan , Piotr and 2 daugthers Katarina and Maria.Jan Majlinger is my father.Im an ophthalmologist , graduated from college in Germany and worked for 10 years in Poland , Katowice.From year 2003 im working in Scandinavia.My daugter Katarina attends a privat American school.Im interested in finding Antoni´s family , my great grandpas brother who as i´ve already mentioned emigrated to USA.Is there any connection between Hungarian Majlingers and Thomas Majlinger from Linz?

Sziasztok Majlinger Ádám vagyok Tatabányaról Komárom-Esztergom megye.Én sajnos nem sok mindent tudok az Őseimről csak annyit, hogy az űkapám Majlinger János volt és Zalába (Kerecseny) települt német nemzetiségű volt.Sajnos ennél régebbi adatok nem állanak rendelkezésemre.

A mikrofilmek részletesebb adatait az un. Weekly Mikrofilming Report-ok tartalmazzák. Nekem eddig fénymásolatban megküldték a kérteket.

Bakonypölöskén Meilinger István barátomnak kigyűjtöttem az általam készített adatbázisokból azokat a sorokat, ahol Meilinger-eket találtam.

A z első oszlop rövidítései GN - Ganna, KV – Pápakovácsi, TV – Nagytevel, TS – Pápateszér, Pl – Magyarpolány, JK – Bakonyjákó, NL – Noszlop.

További kérdéseidre állok rendelkezésre.

By the way: Majlinger is a German name. In mid 1800ies Bavarian farmers emigrated to Hungary, as they were granted land by the king. Only grandmother Vilma was Hungarian by the name of Varga.
