hundan: Marich and Bogar
I am looking for any info on a Dezso Marich [changed name to Daniel G. in US) He was born 12-1862 in Hungary. His occupation is barber. I first find him in Bridgeport, Conneicut in 1890.
He married a Jennie E. D. Bogar abt 1891. She was born on 2-5-1874 in Hungary. Her brother is John who came to US on 1889 or 88 and is also a barber. Their parents were Joseph Bogar and Julia Malovich. I believe they may have had a brother named Louis.

Jennie and Daniel moved to CA in 1892. I cannot find where in Hungary either was born. On the 1920 census is CA they have their mother tongue Hungarian which the letters LC. I have no idea what that may mean.
Any help please

hundan

Have you looked in Ellis Island website for any clues as from where those BOGARs, MARICHs, MARICSs, MALOVICHs and MALOVICSs were from.
www.ellisislandrecords.org
Do they show up in 1930 census? Were they naturalized citizens? Did they live pass 1940?
