Nice to meet you...virtually....first...
My father found "you" and asked me to write some words, as we are quite sure that we are relatives, probably you are the child or grandchild of my father's grandfather's brother or sister... Just to write some words/infos: My father's name is Matosek Miklós. His grandfather was Matosek Gyula (Julius) and was born in 1876 in Malacka and died in Abda, Hungary (train-accident)in 1923 and his grave is in Abda also. Abda is a village right next to Győr in Hungary. Győr is on half way between Budapest and Vienna on the north-westwern part of the country. My father, Miklos, was a Kurucz, but his surname wa apparently changed from Matosec. If anyone might be related please i'd like to know, thank you.

A Kurucz családnév ismerős. Édesapám (Matosek Béla) bátyját Kurucz Gyulának hívták. Magyarországon, Győrben van eltemetve.
Várom a választ, hogy magyarul tudunk-e levelezni, vayg át kell térni az angolra.

Kurucz Gyula győri művezetőnek (háború előtt katonatiszt) György, Tibor, Milós nevű fiai voltak. A feleségét Keszei Matildnak hívták. Győrött a Richards Finomposztógyárban dolgozott, onnét ment nyugdíjba. György fia is. Tibor katona orvos volt, Miklós az '56-os forradalom leverése után emigrált.
Kurucz Gyula édesapját Matosek Gyulának hívták. 1920-ban kellett elhagyniuk a mostani Szlovákiát. Deportálták őket mert magyarnak vallották magukat.
Matosek Gyulának 9 gyereke volt. A legidősebb volt Gyula, aki magyarosította a nevét Kuruczra (mert a Matosek névet tótnak csúfolták, nem lehetett vele érvényesülni).
Kurucz Miklós felmenőiből már nem él senki. Budapest mellett jobbára az ország észak-nyugati részén vannak eltemetve (Győr, Abda, Öttevény, Börcs)

My housband,Tibor Kurucz has a brother, who was living in Johannesburg.
I guess, that he is your father. His name is Miklós Kurucz.
My housband Tibor was born in Veszprem, was living in Győr, they are 5 brothers in the family: Tibor, György, Miklós, Attila, Gyula.
Miklós & Attila has left for Hungary, as we knows, they was living in Johannesburg.

We would like very glad, if you can ctc us.
