	emayer70: Re: Fam. Anton Mayer Hallo Luise, ich bin eine Mayerin aus Budakeszi. Wenn ich es recht verstanden habe suchst du Mayers in Budakeszi. Soviel ich weiss sind mehrere Mayers schon im Jahr 1745 in Budakeszi angekommen. Meine Linie ist Benedikt Mayer aus Unterwachingen. Seine Frau war Juliana Abt aus Anhausen. Beide haben unterwegs geheiratet in Emerkingen. Es gibt aber in der Zusammneschriebung von Budakeszi vom Jahre 1745 einen Melchior Mayer und auch noch weitere zwei Mayers. Es gibt in Deutschland eine Budakeszer geesellschaft, sie haben einen Hompage und sie beschäftigen sich mit Ahnenforschung für Budakeszi.Wenn Du mir deine Adrtesse schreibst kann ich vielleicht noch was schreiben. Wanting to locate/contact...other family from grandfather Michael Mayer OF DEBRECEN AREA, was born in late 1890's or early 1900's . Anna Wimmer (born July 17, 1902/Pilisboresjeno) Catholic...married Michael Mayer (Debrecen area)who was Lutheran, (prior ancestors may have been Ashkenazi) around 1925-1928 possibly in Piliboresjeno. Michael Mayer mother's name was Szussanna; he had a brother possibly called Paul, as well as other siblings, names unknown...the spelling of Szussanna'a name could be different. Michael Mayer left his wife and three children (son and two duaghters) after the marriage broke down, and moved to Budapest around 1935-36 and later started another family. Seeking records of marriage; and to locate relatives from Michael Mayer's, extended family who match the information provided. Some of the DEBRECEN AREA Mayer's, apparently emigrated to the USA circa 1880's-1920's, and may have been lutheran and/or Ashkenazi. 	smjh: Mayer - Hadad, Iklad Hello, My 3g-grandmother was Sara Mayer of Hadad (Hodod), Transylvania. The family was there in 1780. It is believed the family spent time in Iklad before that, but originated in Espang, near Tauplitz, Steiermark (Styria), Austria. Sara m. Johann Dobrovodsky (various spellings) who was the minister of the church in Hadad.
