My father immigrated to Canada in 1932 from Hungary. His name was Joseph Mogyorosi or Mogyorosy. His sister, Elizabeth followed soon after. His brother Paul remained in Hungary. I am looking for his off-springs who would be my cousins.

I am searching for information about my father, and his family. Joseph Mogyorosi immigrated from Hungary to Canada in 1928 from Port of Antwerp. He was born in 1893 in Mocsolor in Hungary. He had a sister, Elizabeth and a brother Pal. Pal remained in Hungary. When my father was young, his father was sent on a government mission to the US with his brother. My grandfather returned to Hungary, but I do not believe his brother did. Any information would be appreciated.

My father's brother was Pal Mogyorosi in Hungary. (See posting for Dec 17, 2006). My father was born 1893 in Mocsolar. He was the oldest of three children. His sister, Elizabeth came to Canada but the youngest child, Pal remained with his mother in Hungary. My father's father and his brother were sent to the US by the Hungarian government on an important mission. My grandfather returned to Hungary but I do not know if my great-uncle did. There are many Mogyorosi's in the US. I have very little information beyond that. What can you share with me?

I am not related. I go on Ancestry and Genforum board beside this one to help out, I hope.
The LDS-Mormons site is listing a church records of Mocsolad in Baranya and Somogy megye but your spelling is Mocsolar. A typing error or there is/was a village by that name and I can not find it?
20 MOGYOROSI did come thru Ellis Island to America www.ellisislandrecords.org and there is a Pal among them but not from Mocsolar.

Mogyorosi: Hungarian ancestry

I am wondering if anyone would have information about my father's family. His last name is Mogyorosi or Mogyorosy. He was born in Hunagary, immigrated to Canada leaving behind his mother and younger brother Paul. I am looking for the descendents of Paul Mogyorosi in Hungary.

Scarlett Mogyorosi: Mogyorosi family

Hi i am from england, my grandad came over here around the 1950's i believe, i only saw him once before he passed away. He lived in Budapest and i have been told i have family over there, his name was Julius/Julian im not qute sure and he has 4 children in england 3 males and 1 female their mother is called Ida Smith.

Billy and Julie Mogyorosi: Our relatives?

Hello, My sister and I were wondering if there were any other relatives of ours out there. Our great grandmother was Julia Mogyorosi and Married to Deso or Dezo? Mogyorosi.
Our grandfather passed a few years ago and we never got to talk about our family history. If anyone has any information or possibilities that we could be related please reply back!
